Below-grade work is moving up for the Diamond on Yonge Condominiums at 75 Canterbury Place in Toronto.

Owner/construction manager Diamante Development Corp., along with Ledcor, are building the 30-storey tower with 386 suites, retail on the ground floor and underground parking. Amenities will include a theatre room, party room with full kitchen, a games room, library, fitness centre, yoga studio, outdoor gardens and guest suites. The project was designed by Scott Shields Architects and the building exterior was designed by Taylor Smyth Architects. Consultants are Tarra Engineering and Structural Consultants Inc., MV Shore Associates (1993) Ltd. (mechanical/electrical) and Ferris + Associates Inc. (landscape). Subtrades include Anchor Shoring & Caissons Ltd., Crown Drilling Limited, Allmix (concrete supply) and Dominion Forming.
