MISSISSAUGA, ONT.
EllisDon, in partnership with Build-a-Dream, is hosting Stir It Up, an afternoon of entertainment celebrating diversity and inclusion and it how makes teams better and stronger, all while raising money for a good cause.
The event will be held Sept. 8 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
All of the proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund, which aims to build cultural understanding and create a path toward reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, a release indicates.
The virtual event will kick off with the audience participating in a demonstration by an experienced mixologist. Participants are invited to make the cocktail or mocktail using items found in your home and then Stir It Up and enjoy.
Attendees will also hear firsthand how diversity and inclusion have shaped the lives of people and the event will be capped off with a performance from a steel drum band.
General admission tickets are $20 each. VIP Experience tickets are $200Â and you get full access to the virtual event and a custom VIP box delivered directly to you to help enhance your experience during the party.
