The New Brunswick government recently announced that construction has started on a $22.7-million francophone elementary school in Moncton.
Foulem Construction ltee, based in Caraquet, will build the 118,898-square-foot building on 25.4 acres of land at 701 Ryan Road, the departments of Education and Early Childhood Development and Transportation and Infrastructure stated in a recent press release.
The school will open in the fall of 2013. It will have two gymnasiums, 27 classrooms, a library and cafeteria. It will also have a sports field and a playground.
