The $100-million General Motors automotive centre of excellence has officially opened.
Designed by Diamond and Schmitt Architects and constructed by Carillion Canada, the facility is designed to allow a rare combination of industrial research and academic programming. The collaborative research facility at the left houses a climatic wind tunnel.
Adjoining it is the five-storey integrated research and testing facility, a post-graduate academic centre.
