Acklands-Grainger Canadian president Sean O’Brien resigns

W.W. Grainger Inc. (NYSE:GWW) announced Wednesday that Sean O’Brien, president of the firm’s Canadian subsidiary, will resign from the company effective March 23, 2012. The Lake Forest, Illinois-based firm sells a wide variety of equipment and supplies for facilities managers, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, power tools, metal working, pumps and safety equipment. Mike Pulick will take over as interim president of the Richmond Hill, Ontario-based Canadian operation, Acklands-Grainger Inc.

W.W. Grainger Inc. (NYSE:GWW) announced Wednesday that Sean O'Brien, president of the firm’s Canadian subsidiary, will resign from the company effective March 23, 2012. The Lake Forest, Illinois-based supplier of industrial, safety and fastener products said Mike Pulick will take over as interim president of the Canadian operation, Acklands-Grainger Inc., which has its head office west of Buttonville Airport in Richmond Hill, Ontario, about 25 kilometres north of downtown Toronto.

O'Brien joined Acklands-Grainger as vice-president of sales in November 2007. He became president in September, 2009.

The company sells a wide variety of equipment and supplies for facilities managers, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, power tools, metal working, pumps and safety equipment.
