Transport Futures hosts mobility summit Dec. 3

TORONTO — Transport Futures has announced details of its Smart Mobility Summit to be held Dec. 3 in Toronto.

One panel will explore how British, Swedish and American city regions are managing and integrating roads, transit, automated vehicles, mobility pricing and big data into their transportation plans. Another panel of Canadian experts will apply lessons from international case studies to the Ontario context.

Confirmed speakers include Edward Reiskin, director of transportation, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority; Judith Hayton, strategy and policy manager, Transport for London; Gunnar Soderholm, director, environment and health administration, City of Stockholm; Michael Steinberg, head of strategy, programme and communications, UK Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles; Jan Hellaker, program director, Drive Sweden; William Riggs, assistant professor, University of San Francisco; Antoine Belaieff, director of regional planning, Metrolinx; Sue Zielinski, principal, Zielinski Consulting; Anna Robak, research manager, innovation and future ready, WSP Canada Group; and Bern Grush, co-founder and chief innovation officer, Harmonize Mobility.
