TORONTO — A man was seriously injured and rushed to hospital following a work incident in Etobicoke, Toronto Police reported.
David Hopkinson, media relations officer for the Toronto Police Service, said on Jan. 11 at about 11 a.m., a man working on a platform 15 feet above ground fell and suffered a “fairly serious injury.” He was rushed to hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.
The incident occurred at Kipling Avenue near Horner Avenue in Etobicoke. Police, fire and Emergency Medical Services attended the scene.
The Ministry of Labour was called to investigate and told the Daily Commercial News an inspector has been assigned. The ministry has no further details.
