Construction moves along for the condominium project 18 Yonge Street in Toronto. Developer/construction manager H & R Developments began the 39-storey, 492-unit project late in 2003 and occupancy has been scheduled for next summer.
Condo construction
It will include an above ground parking structure and two-levels below grade. The project was designed by Page + Steele Inc. Consultants are: Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural); Hidi Rae Consulting Engineers (mechanical/electrical); and Terraplan Landscape Architects. Subtrades include: Michael Bros. Excavating; Anchor Shoring & Caissons Ltd.; Delgant (Civil) Ltd. (formwork); Harris Rebar (rebar supply); Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Denham Masonry; University Plumbing & Heating Ltd. (mechanical); Nortown Electrical Contractors Associates; Allan Window Systems Inc.; Protech Roofing Waterproofing Ltd.; and Fujitec Canada Inc. (elevators).
