A new $2.1 million health centre is under construction in Stanley, N.B.
The project consists of a single-storey, 662.4 square metre building constructed on the same property as the Nashwaak Villa Nursing Home which opened in July 2013. Built in 1976, the Stanley Health Centre is the oldest health centre in the province.
Simpson Building Contractors Ltd. has been awarded a $1.6 million contract to build the centre, the architect is Goguen Architecture Inc. Work on the new centre began in mid-June.
