MONTREAL — Groupe EMD-Batimo has announced the launch of the Eleva retirement rental condominium project in Montreal.
The project, to rise to 23 storeys, will be built at the intersection of Rene-Levesque Blvd. and Atwater Avenue, the former site of the Montreal Children’s Hospital, stated a recent release. Groupe EMD-Batimo is collaborating with Clarke and Claridge as investing partners.
The project will feature 208 units ranging in size from 370 to 1,400 square feet. Starting rents will range between $1,387 and $4,246 per month.
Amenities will include a bistro, dining room, cooking facility, panoramic lounge, indoor pool, gym, patio, golf simulator, speakeasy and movie theatre. Meals, housekeeping and personalized care services as well as indoor parking and storage spaces will also be offered.
Another phase of the Children’s Hospital redevelopment will soon be announced. The new project, called Stella, will be dedicated to assisted living and memory care.
“We are extremely proud to inaugurate this new project, merged into the same tower as the prestigious 1111 Atwater. Our team has made every effort to offer retirees a living space that meets their expectations,” said Francis Charron, president of Groupe EMD-Batimo and vice-president of EMD Construction, in a statement.
