CaGBC National Conference Expo rolls in to Toronto

The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) will be launching its National Conference Expo in Toronto next week at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and Royal York Hotel.

The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) will be launching its National Conference Expo in Toronto next week at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and Royal York Hotel.

Titled “Building Lasting Change”, this year’s event will feature expert speaker, a 100-booth expo floor, city green building tours, an international delegate program as well as networking events.

The theme this year is “Exploring the Value of Green Building”, and will address new information on the business case of green buildings and the value of building green.

“As the pressure mounts for immediate solutions and innovative ideas to combat the growing impacts of climate change, this annual event becomes all the more important,” said CaGBC president and CEO Thomas Mueller, in a statement. “Green buildings have emerged as a proven solution globally with Canada as a leader in green buildings and communities. By demonstrating the broader value of green building, industry and government can engage in those actions that provide the biggest benefit to them, their investors or stakeholders.”

The expo runs from June 2 to 4.
