Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador held two conferences recently to promote awareness of skilled trades opportunities among female students in junior and senior high school.
The programs offered through Skills Work for Women invited young women to explore the different career options available in skilled trades and technologies. The second part of the program involved panel discussions with women currently working in skilled trades and technology fields.
